1st finished knitted Dishcloth

I am so excited and after tearing out at least a half a dozen of them, I finally got one done! I did it, I knit a dishcloth! I am thrilled. I know there are a few boo boo's, but it is useable! YEAH!!! I actually did it! I had to take out an entire row right in the middle and it turned the stitches so there is a funky line, but it works. 1st attempt at knitting

I used worsted weight cotton and here is the 1st attempt.....

I know! Long way from being perfect, but off to a decent start... FINALLY! Only took, well it took me a lot of years to learn! LOL

Knitting needles.....

Wow, I did it! I just went and bought 2 different sets of size 5 and 6 circular kitting needles. 2 are Susan bates and 2 are Clover Bamboo. I am going to go to the knitting videos and start trying this weekend! Wish me luck!

Crocheted Bicycle Basket

I made this bicycle Basket for my Niece's little bike, her Sister got a new bike and a new basket, we could find nothing small enough for hers, so I got some plastic canvas, some cotton yarn and viola! She loves it!!!

Christmas in May....

Wow, already finished 1st Christmas set to go out! Sister is a huge Christmas fan and decorates everything starting at Thanksgiving and we only see her once a year so Christmas themes at Christmas are a bad deal, so I am sending her a Christmas package for her Birthday the first part of June... here is a picture of part of the package ...

Mile a Minute Bath Set

I finally got to work on the Mile a Minute Bath Set!!! Turned out lovely I think. Working on the hanging tissue holder now and am going to make a contour rug for the toilet too (there is no pattern for that though). The pattern is from Annies Attic called Mile-a-Minute Bath Set. We got the book on eBay.

Yellow Rose of Texas Doily

Here is my Yellow Rose of Texas Doily that I ordered from http://www.anniesattic.com/. I finished it in 2 days! I love this thing, it was reasonably easy and is absolutely lovely. I can see this in many other colors!!! I did do a picot edging rather than just the chain stitch it called for and it ended up at 18" instead of 16". The kit contains enough yarn for two of them!!! YEAH.
